Tuktuk Rentaly is a small social enterprise based in Negombo, twenty minutes from Colombo's international airport. We started with a simple observation: travellers wanted the freedom of driving their own tuk tuk, and local tuk tuk owners wanted a fairer share of tourism income.

So we don't own a fleet. Every tuk tuk we rent belongs to a local owner in our network. When you book with us, the rental income goes to a Sri Lankan family — often earning an owner more in one week than a month of city fares.

Along the way we handle everything that used to make self-drive hard: the Sri Lankan AAC permit paperwork, full insurance, a proper driving lesson at your hotel, and a support team on WhatsApp around the clock. You get the adventure; a local family gets the income; the island gets travellers who go beyond the tour-bus routes.
