Who we are

Tuktuk Rentaly (tuktukrentaly.com) is a tuk tuk rental service based at 37 Perera Pl, Negombo 11500, Sri Lanka. This policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Booking details — your name, email or phone number, travel dates, pickup and drop-off locations, and any notes you add. The booking form on this website doesn't store these: it opens WhatsApp with your message, and we receive it there.
• Driving documents — photos of your driving licence and International Driving Permit, which we need to arrange your Sri Lankan Recognition Permit.
• Messages — anything you send us by WhatsApp, phone or email.

How we use it

We use your information only to handle your rental: confirming availability and prices, applying for your driving permit, arranging delivery and insurance, and supporting you during your trip. We share it only with the people needed to do that — such as the Automobile Association of Ceylon for your permit, our insurer, and the local owner of your tuk tuk. We never sell your data.

Cookies and third parties

This website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the site is hosted on Google Firebase, which keeps standard server logs. WhatsApp messages are handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep booking information and document copies only as long as needed for your rental and for any legal, insurance or accounting requirements that follow from it.
